Freedom

Will you find me in dream tonight? Dressed in magic and happenstance. You did not intend for us to meet here; there are many others whom you have wanted to see. I am here, not as one who wants to interfere. I am here, to say that there lives a person who has seen your heart, and considers it beautiful; as beautiful as your mind, and body. There is so much unequaled strength in you. The stones you have carried have been heavy. In life, as in this dream, I remind you that you are free; even if I love you. Even, if you were to love me.

There is a boat beside us, lingering in a sea of indigo. Come sit with me for a moment, and let the tide move us where it wants for us to go; for those who paddle seem to get lost. This is a current to trust. And if our tiny boat should start to tip, I will try to right it. And if you want to go home, we can. But if you drift along with me a while, in this liquid ubiquity, I will hear you when you want to speak. I will feel you when you come close, and I will be, for you, what it is that I am – someone aware of you in precious segments growing increasingly more precise; someone who once had a tracing of you that has become emblazoned with depth and detail; someone who only wants for you to know, how wonderful you are – with the only word that is worthy.
